Pictured below, me trying to make a three-dimensional activity as two-dimenional as possible, aka Roll cast in one plane, or good tracking, or efficient tracking.

I'm looking to 'flatten' my cast - imagining it an inch away from an almost vertical glass wall. The line going out should travel.... track ;) ... out and over, just to my left (the inside) of the line coming in (line on water). There has to be a slight deviation so the legs of line do not touch - having them bypass as close as I can get away with given the conditions.
